Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Complex Needs Support Specialist to join our team, providing tailored support in a nurturing and inclusive environment. The Role: Provide personalised support to individuals with complex needs, including SEND, ASD, ADHD, and other additional needs, in educational or care settings.Develop and implement individualised support plans based on assessments and ongoing evaluations of each person s needs.Assist in the delivery of specialised educational programmes and activities tailored to individual learning requirements.Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to support.Monitor progress, adjust strategies as needed, and maintain a safe, inclusive environment where each individual can thrive.Promote positive behaviour and well-being, offering emotional and practical support where necessary. Requirements: A relevant qualification in health and social care, special education, or a related field.Additional training in behaviour management, de-escalation techniques, or other relevant areas.Knowledge of relevant legislation, best practices, and safeguarding requirements for individuals with SEND and additional needs.Proven experience ..... full job details .....
