Complex Needs Learning Support AssistantLocation: North LondonSalary: 18-23 Pounds per Hour ( depending on Your experience)Hours: Full timeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant to support learners with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), autism, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and complex medical needs.This is a rewarding and specialist role requiring an individual who can provide high-quality educational, personal care, and healthcare support, enabling learners to access education safely and achieve their individual goals.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one and small group support to learners with complex SEND needs.Support learners to access educational, vocational, sensory, and life-skills activities.Deliver personal care, including toileting, changing, feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene support.Administer medication in accordance with individual healthcare plans and organisational policies.Support learners requiring PEG feeding and other specialist medical interventions.Undertake manual handling duties, including the safe use of hoists, slings, wheelchairs, standing frames, and specialist equipment.Support learners with mobility, positioning, and physical disabilities.Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals, and families.Promote learner independence, ..... full job details .....
