The successful candidate will assist Solicitors and Advocates in preparing cases for court. The firm have over 15 national offices that comprised of more than 250 members of staff. Roles and Responsibilities • Assisting Solicitors and legal representatives with case preparation • Managing a caseload of files under the supervision of litigators • Drafting correspondence to clients, courts and third parties • Applying for Legal Aid, prior authority and other case funding • Taking client instructions and preparing statements, applications, written representations and other legal documents • Uploading and downloading case material through CCDCS • Assisting with diary management and ensuring Court Orders are complied with • Maintaining accurate time recording and case management records • Ensuring files meet the firm''s internal standards and Lexcel requirements • Undertaking legal research and assisting with the instruction of experts where required • Providing a high standard of client care Person Specification • Previous experience within criminal law or a solicitor''s offi...
