### About the Role

Complex Carers provide person-centred care to individuals with complex health needs. You will support clients to live safely and comfortably, following individual care plans and clinical guidance, while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.

### Key Responsibilities

Deliver care in line with care plans and agreed support protocolsSupport with personal care and daily living tasksProvide clinical support within your training/competency, including: * Seizure management * Monitoring and reassurance during health needs
* Support with feeding routines (PEG / NG feeding)
* Tracheostomy support (where trained)
* Oxygen therapy support (where trained)
* O2 administration and observation (where trained)
* Suctioning (where trained)Encourage communication, mobility and independenceMaintain accurate records and report changes in condition promptlyFollow safeguarding, infection control and medication/care handling policiesWork alongside families, multi-disciplinary teams and other staff as required

### Experience / Training

Training and ongoing support are provided. Applicants must be willing to undertake relevant training for complex care needs and work flexibly across PO, GU and BN.

Relevant experience (or willingness to be trained) in one or more of the following is beneficial:

Severe learning disabilitiesPhysical conditions requiring complex supportSeizure managementPEG or NG feedTracheostomyOxygen therapy / O2Suctioning

### Hours / Flexibility

Options available for temp, part-time and full-time workShifts may vary based on client needs

### Requirements

Right to work in the UKAbility to travel to PO, GU and BN areasCompassionate, reliable and calm approach to complex situationsStrong communication and ability to follow written care instructionsWillingness to complete required training and competency sign-offs
