Complex Care Support Worker Newcastle £12.71 - £20 per hour Contract Type: Zero Hour We are currently looking to recruit experienced Complex Care Support Workers to work across a range of specialist services in the North East, supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol dependency, dual diagnosis, mental health needs, and complex behaviours. Opportunities include residential rehabilitation services, supported living, community-based recovery programmes, specialist units, and private healthcare settings as part of our established health and social care agency. The Role As a Complex Care Support Worker at Pin Point Health, your main duties will include: Supporting individuals with drug and alcohol recovery programmes in line with personalised care and support plans. Providing practical and emotional support to promote independence, wellbeing, and long-term recovery. Administering and recording medication in accordance with organisational policies and procedures. Monitoring and reporting changes in physical health, mental wellbeing, and potential relapse indicators. Supporting service users to attend appointments, recovery groups, and community activities. Assisting with daily living skills, personal care (where required), and domestic duties. Developing positive working relationships with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, substance misuse specialists, and social care services.
