At Gainsborough House, we are dedicated to providing exceptional nursing and complex care in a supportive environment. Our Complex Care Unit requires specialist support to address physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioural challenges. We are looking for compassionate and skilled Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our residents.Key Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality, person-centred care to residents with complex health needsUnderstand individual health and wellbeing needsSupport residents with daily activities including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and emotional well-beingWork closely with nurses and multidisciplinary teams to follow care plansMaintain accurate care records and report changes in residents’ conditionsPromote dignity, choice and respect at all timesAbout You

Previous experience in a healthcare setting (complex care experience desirable but not essential; full training provided)A caring, empathetic nature and a genuine desire to help othersExcellent communication and teamwork skillsNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it) is a plusWillingness to learn and undertake further clinical trainingAble to deal with, and defuse, challenging situationsExperience in Acquired Brain Injury, Challenging behaviourWe Offer
