As a Complex Care Assistant, you will be supporting an individual living with a spinal cord injury in the M26 area. This role is varied, hands-on, and highly rewarding, giving you the opportunity to make a real difference every day. You’ll be part of a small, supportive care team providing 24-hour assistance to ensure comfort, safety, and independence.What You’ll Be Doing
Tracheostomy support (tube changes, suctioning, manual coughs).Support with breathing valves and oxygen monitoring.PEG feeding, hydration, and catheter careWorking closely with healthcare professionals.What We’re Looking For
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in someone’s daily life. To be successful in this role, you should haveAt least 6 months’ previous care experience in the UK
(essential).A
caring and patient nature , with excellent communication skills.Confidence in
safe moving and handling , or willingness to learn.An interest in learning specialist skills such as
tracheostomy care, suctioning, PEG feeding, and catheter care
(full training provided).Flexibility to work
12-hour shifts
