Complaints HandlerLocation: Halifax Contract: 6 monthsAbout the roleSearch are looking for a professional and empathetic Complaints Handler to join an organisation in Halifax for a 6 month fixed term contract. This role is responsible for managing customer complaints from start to finish, ensuring fair, timely, and effective resolutions.You will play a key role in improving the customer experience by investigating issues, identifying root causes, and supporting continuous improvement across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesManage customer complaints from initial contact through to resolutionInvestigate issues thoroughly and gather information from relevant departmentsCommunicate clearly and professionally with customers at all stagesEnsure outcomes are fair, consistent, and in line with company policyIdentify root causes and highlight trends or recurring issuesMaintain accurate and detailed case recordsKey Experience and SkillsPrevious experience in complaints handling or a customer service environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalismGood organisational skills and attention to detailStrong problem-solving ability and sound judgementExperience using CRM or case management systems is desirableWhat we''re looking forCalm and resilient under pressureCustomer-focused with a strong sense of ownershipAble to prioritise workload and meet deadlinesA collaborative approach to working across teamsWhy ..... full job details .....
