CompEx Electrician (SC Cleared)

Job Title: CompEx Electrician (SC Cleared) Location: Site-based Contract Duration: 3 6 months (potential for extension for the right candidate) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified CompEx Electrician to support a variety of electrical works across sites. The role involves working on diverse installations, including critical power systems and hazardous area environments, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities: Installation and commissioning of UPS systems for main gate operations Installation of electrical spurs for point-of-use hot water systems in welfare areas Full ATEX-compliant electrical fit-out of hazardous areas, including gas bottle storage facilities Ensure all work complies with current regulations, site standards, and safety procedures Carry out testing, inspection, and certification of completed works Work collaboratively with site teams and other trades to deliver projects efficiently Requirements: Valid CompEx certification (Ex01 Ex04 preferred) Proven experience working in hazardous (ATEX) environments Strong background in industrial/commercial electrical installations Knowledge of current electrical regulations (e.g. BS 7671) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong commitment to health and safety ..... full job details .....
