About the Role
A COMPEX certified Electrician or Electronic Technician is required in Westhill to support offshore drilling equipment delivery. This contract role focuses on improving maintenance metrics and reliability for oil and gas products. The position involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic equipment and instruments. Key skills include interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings, alongside knowledge of electronic circuits, components, control systems, sensors, and automation. Responsibilities cover maintaining equipment per the Computerised Maintenance Management System and supporting Carbon Storage and Development projects. The salary ranges from £21 to £28 per hour.

Requirements
COMPEX certified Electronics or COMPEX certified Electrician.
Electronic circuit, component, and systems knowledge.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment and instruments.
Read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Control system, sensor, and automation equipment knowledge,
Ability to install, calibrate, and maintain electronic systems and devices.
Responsibilities
Maintain equipment as per the Computerized Maintenance Management System and standard work.
Support Carbon Storage and Development projects, including parts repair, reuse and parts maintenance.
Investigate assigned failures.
Record materials, labour costs and equipment maintenance performance history such as movements, work orders, parts etc.
