We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Competent Person to join our team in Norwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out duties safely, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out competent person duties in line with relevant legislation and company procedures.


• Identify hazards, assess risks and implement appropriate control measures.


• Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required standards.


• Complete relevant inspections, checks and documentation.


• Communicate effectively with site teams, management and other contractors.


• Report any safety concerns, incidents or non-compliance promptly.



 

Requirements:

• Relevant experience working as a Competent Person.


• Good understanding of health and safety procedures and risk assessments.


• Relevant qualifications and certifications for the role.


• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.


• A proactive approach to health, safety and compliance.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
