Company Commercial Solicitor | 5+ PQE | Hertford | Part-Time

A well-established, Legal 500-ranked law firm with a strong reputation across Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Company Commercial Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join its specialist team on a part-time basis, working 2 days per week (14.5 hours).

Working closely with the Partner and Head of Company Commercial, you will handle a varied commercial caseload and play an active role in developing the firm''s company and commercial offering. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, collaborative and progressive environment, with no existing following required.

Key responsibilities:

• Advising clients on a broad range of commercial matters and contracts

• Managing your own caseload and meeting clients independently

• Drafting high-quality commercial documentation and correspondence

• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

• Identifying new business and referral opportunities

• Supporting seminars, workshops, networking and business development

• Contributing to the continued growth of the commercial department

Requirements:

• Qualified and practising Solicitor with 5+ years'' PQE

• Strong practical experience in company commercial work and commercial contracts

• Excellent drafting, communication and interpersonal skills

• Commercially minded with a genuine interest in business development

• Strong organisation and ability to manage competing priorities

• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to working with clients across Hertfordshire and surrounding areas
