Company Accountant Great YarmouthFull time, permanentSalary circa £40,000 to £50,000, depending on experienceKeeler Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well established and growing business in the recruitment of a Company Accountant.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of a standalone finance function, working closely with the Directors to deliver accurate financial reporting, maintain strong financial controls and provide commercial insight to support business decisions. The role This is a broad and varied position, offering responsibility for the day to day finance function through to monthly reporting, cashflow management and forecasting.Key responsibilities include:Producing monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliationsManaging daily cashflow, banking and cashflow forecastingProcessing monthly payroll and VAT returnsMaintaining the purchase and sales ledgersManaging month end processes and financial controlsOverseeing credit control and monitoring aged debtManaging inventory accounting and stock valuationsPreparing budgets, forecasts and financial analysisLiaising with external accountants and supporting the year end processIdentifying opportunities to improve finance systems and processesAbout youAAT qualified, part qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA, or qualified by experiencePrevious experience in a standalone finance role or similarStrong knowledge of management ..... full job details .....
