Company Accountant

This established and growing family business is seeking a capable Company Accountant / Finance Manager to oversee the finances for a c£12m operation. Reporting directly into the MD you will look after three trading companies and one holding company, managing a small team to ensure financial controls and accurate reporting is in place. My client is looking for a good hands on accountant who can report the right numbers and support decision making. Experience is more important than qualifications for this role. The mains duties will be:• Preparing the board report and presenting the financial pack• Production of the management accounts• Consolidation of trading results for presentation to bank• Planning and forecasting cash flow• Reporting financial KPI''s to key stakeholders• Preparing the stat accounts and audit liaison• VAT / PAYE / Tax returns• Analysis for CAPEX and investmentsThe ideal candidate would have experience of SAGE 50 and be a confident Excel user. Much of the reporting is already in place so you will be expected to maintain monthly close processes and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and in a timely fashion.
