About the RoleAs a Community Support Worker, you will support adults aged 19+ with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs through engaging, person-centred activities both within our hubs and out in the local community. You will use approaches such as Active Support and Positive Behaviour Support to help people participate in meaningful sessions including: Cooking and independent living skillsCommunication activitiesMusic and dance sessionsCommunity access and social inclusion activitiesHealth and wellbeing support You will play a key role in promoting independence, choice, wellbeing, dignity, and safety while helping individuals work towards outcomes that matter to them. Please note that personal care support is an essential requirement of this role.
