We''re looking for a Community Steward to join our North Northamptonshire Council team based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. In this rewarding role, you''ll be at the heart of the local community, acting as a visible and approachable presence while representing both North Northamptonshire Council and Kier. As the eyes and ears of the community, you''ll help identify local issues, support residents, and contribute to creating cleaner, safer, and more welcoming neighbourhoods. What will you be responsible for? As a Community Steward, you''ll respond to public enquiries, carry out inspections, and assess highway defects whilst engaging professionally with customers and stakeholders. Your day to day will include: Carrying out site visits and inspections in response to public enquiries and service requests from the Network Intelligence Operations Centre Categorising and logging defects onto the Works Management System and updating customers on progress Attending emergency incidents as the first point of contact to assess and respond to situations on the ..... full job details .....
