Community Service Supervisor

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and supporting groups of individuals undertaking community-based work projects, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.This is a hands-on role combining people management, practical work, and community engagement. The position involves working outdoors, travelling between sites, and supporting individuals to develop skills and positive working behaviours.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, coach, and motivate groups of individuals undertaking community-based work projectsDeliver on-site inductions, including health and safety briefingsPromote positive working relationships and encourage constructive attitudes towards work and rehabilitationMaintain effective control and supervision of work squads while ensuring a supportive environmentEnsure work is completed safely and in line with health and safety requirementsInstruct individuals in the safe use of tools, equipment, and materialsCarry out practical work activities including grounds maintenance, painting and decorating, gardening, building maintenance, or related tasksLiaise positively with community groups, site hosts, and project ..... full job details .....
