Community Partnerships and Events Fundraising Officer

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive Community Partnerships and Events Fundraising Officer to join a growing team for a wonderful local health charity. This is a flexible hybrid role two days a week in the Bristol office, you will ideally own a car. The Charity: You would be joining a growing, community focused health charity and joining a team raising vital funds for the local community. The role: Join a team to support the development and delivery of a community and events fundraising portfolio to jointly raise c£250k. Provide warm, proactive stewardship of existing and new supporters, actively build relationships with community groups, schools, sports clubs and community organisations. Support the smooth planning and delivery of fundraising events including the delivery of third party events. Motivate and inspire individuals and groups to support the charity, offering outstanding donor care and effective stewardship and giving appropriate advice about their fundraising activities. Work with the wider team on developing fundraising campaigns, events, and fundraiser stories. The candidate: This role will require travel to visit various supporters, groups and events out in the community. There may be a vehicle available if required, but you would ideally be a car owner. Demonstrable knowledge and experience of community and events fundraising with a track record of meeting and exceeding fundraising targets.
