Summary As our Community, Participation and Volunteer Co-Ordinator, you will champion the value of engagement, support the team to co-ordinate activities, and help grow and diversify opportunities so more people can get involved. This is a varied role that requires excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving and strong relationship management skills. You''ll be required to work some weekends. What it''s like to work here You''ll report to the Property Operations Manager as part of the Operations team across the National Trust Norfolk Coast, Broads and Sheringham portfolio. This large and diverse portfolio includes places such as Brancaster, Brancaster Staithe, Stiffkey, Morston Quay, Blakeney, Blakeney Point, Salthouse, Sheringham Park Horsey Windpump and Heigham Homes. You''ll work across the portfolio, whilst being based in Blakeney, and will be a key part of the wider team. Part of your role will involve engaging with groups in our local community to develop partnerships and strong working relationships. You''ll be expected to carry out Duty Manager responsibilities as part of your role. As a duty manager, you''ll be responsible on the day for the smooth running of a property within the wider portfolio during opening hours - acting as the main contact point for staff, volunteers, and customers in case of emergency, enquiry or complaint.
