Position: Community Outreach Officer (Crisis and Resilience) Location: Crawley, Mid Sussex, Horsham Salary: £25,500 pro rata Hours: Full-Time 37 hours per week (part time working considered) Contract: Fixed Term contract - Ending 31 March 2027 Closing Date: 30th October 2026 About the Role This role is focused on supporting financial resilience, helping individuals access information, tools, and resources that can improve their financial wellbeing. You will engage directly with members of the community, promoting income maximisation support, benefit entitlement checks, budgeting tools, money-saving advice, and other practical guidance. As a confident and approachable communicator, you will be skilled at initiating conversations and building positive relationships, ensuring people feel comfortable engaging with the support available. You will identify individual needs and, where more complex advice is required, arrange appointments with specialist advisers.
