Community Mental Health Advocate - West Sussex
Mind in Brighton and Hove empowers and supports people who have experience of mental health issues across Sussex. Our Advocacy Services take action to help people have their views heard, secure their rights and obtain services they need. We are seeking to appoint 2 Community Mental Health Advocates (one 21 hours per week and one 28 hours per week) to provide advocacy support to clients in West Sussex. The roles will be based at our central Brighton office, with regular travel across West Sussex. At present, the role may include some home working. Driving and own vehicle are essential. These posts requires an understanding of advocacy, experience of managing a client case load, excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a range of professionals, whilst retaining independence. Hours: 2 part-time roles available - 21 hours per week and 28 hours per week.
