This part-time, temporary position involves providing access to our community centres primarily during weekends and weekday evenings. The role is based in Lambeth and covers three community spaces.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Open and close community centres for events and activities, ensuring timely access for groups.Ensure the premises are prepared for hirers and that equipment such as tables and chairs are set up and stored away after events.Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations during events and report any maintenance or repair issues.Perform light cleaning tasks, rubbish disposal, and occasionally allow access to contractors.Handle cash transactions for security deposits as needed.Conduct hirer inductions, explaining health, safety, and fire procedures.Required Skills and Qualifications:Flexible approach to work, with availability mainly on weekends and weekday evenings.Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work independently without close supervision.Strong communication skills and proficiency in using IT systems for booking and data management.Experience in a similar role, ideally within a community centre or customer-focused environment.Knowledge of health ..... full job details .....
