We are recruiting for a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist in Canterbury CAMHS Community Team, based at George Turle House, Canterbury. This is a full-time, substantive post, currently vacant, offering 10 PAs (7.5 DCC + 2.5 SPA). You will join another full-time CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist and a 0.5wte Specialty Doctor, with opportunities to influence service development.Key Responsibilities:
Work within multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs in Canterbury.Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.Work directly with young people and their families, liaising with external CAMHS providers and hospitals.Participate in the on-call rota (1:14), with a 3% on-call supplement.Support peers and team leaders, working collaboratively and independently.Engage in multidisciplinary and inter-agency collaboration.This advert closes on Wednesday 19 Nov ..... full job details .....
