Working alongside our Caf Manager and Assistant Chef, you''ll help create a warm and inclusive environment where customers, volunteers and community members feel valued and supported. This is more than just a caf role. You''ll play an important part in supporting a community space that brings people together and promotes wellbeing, inclusion and social connection. What You''ll Be Doing Supporting the day-to-day operation of the caf . Carrying out food preparation, baking, cooking, and buffet production. Providing excellent customer service to all visitors. Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety. Supporting caf opening and closing procedures and cash handling when required. Working with and supporting volunteers. Building positive relationships with people from all backgrounds, including children, older people and vulnerable individuals. Assisting with community events and activities.
