Joining us will provide you with unparalleled access to training opportunities, continuous CPD, peer support groups, and a robust supervision and appraisal system.We are currently recruiting to an Adult Consultant Psychiatrist position in the West Mental Health and Wellness Team, based at Barking Community Hospital, Upney Lane, Barking, Essex, IG11 9LX. This is a replacement, substantive, full-time post - 10 Programmed Activities (PAs) post with 7.5 Direct Clinical Contact activities (DCC) and 2.5 Supporting Professional Activities (SPAs).Job responsibilities:

Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, across West Barking and DagenhamProvide senior medical support and guidance to the teamWork directly with adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitalsParticipate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplementSupport your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiativeWork alongside another Adult Consultant Psychiatrist, and trainees within the serviceCommit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agenciesPerson Specification:
