Joining us will provide you with unparalleled access to training opportunities, continuous CPD, peer support groups, and a robust supervision and appraisal system.We are currently recruiting to an Adult Consultant Psychiatrist position in the Havering Mental Wellness Team South (MHWT-S), based at Oasis House, 28 - 30 Gubbins Lane, Harold Wood, RM3 0QA. This is a new, substantive, full-time role - 10 PAs. We wish to recruit to this role as soon as possible.You will join another 1wte Consultant Psychiatrist, 1wte Specialist Grade Doctor, and 1wte CT1-3 doctor within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.Job responsibilities

You will be expected to:Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, across southern HaveringProvide senior medical support to the team, and direct input on clinal casesProvide guidance and supervision to the teamWork directly with adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitalsParticipate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement (pro-rata)Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiativeWork alongside 1wte consultants, 1wte Specialty Doctor, and 1wte trainee doctor within the serviceCommit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agenciesPerson Specification
