Every Tuesday, all officers are requested to work from Hounslow House.Description PURPOSE OF ROLE: To support the development, delivery and co-ordination of non-statutory, borough wide issues in response to refugees, asylum seekers and evacuees living in Hounslow. All applicants must have have experience of both asylum and HfU(Homes for Ukraine) scheme please.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:To conduct this work in a way that shows an understanding of risks to men and the lived experience/issues for asylum seekers and refugeesBe a familiar and reliable first point of contact for men from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds.Identify risks to men and respond to all safeguarding concerns.Point of contact between men and other agencies through their specific accommodation, for example sponsors or contingency hotelsTo provide practical and emotional support and have knowledge of local and national services useful to menTo ensure early assessment of needs and risks, such as exploitation, Modern Day Slavery concerns and domestic abuse (as victim or perpetrator)To provide early intervention support and response to reduce isolationIdentify and respond to all adult and ..... full job details .....
