UK Power Networks is looking for a creative and confident Communications Officer to join its Press Office team on a part-time basis. Based in Ipswich, you will secure positive media coverage across the Eastern region and bring compelling stories to life - from apprenticeships and community initiatives to major operational updates and award entries. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will write high-quality external communications, respond to media enquiries, monitor breaking news and work closely with colleagues across the business to identify strong content ideas. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound news judgement, a collaborative approach and the confidence to build relationships with journalists and internal stakeholders.The role is three days per week, working 8am to 5pm, with blended working available after probation.
