About the role…
As Communications Coordinator, you will support the delivery of company-wide communication strategies aligned to Ipsum’s objectives, working closely with the Marketing and Communications team. You will contribute to media relations, create engaging content, and coordinate a range of communication channels to effectively reach and influence key stakeholders. The role also involves supporting campaigns and using both traditional and digital media to amplify messaging, enhance brand visibility, and ensure communications are clear, consistent, and impactful.
As a Communications Coordinator you will…
- Plan and deliver engaging internal and external communications aligned to company goals
- Create and manage content across channels, including intranet, email bulletins, website and social media
- Write and shape compelling stories, case studies and updates that bring the business to life
- Proactively spot content opportunities through conversations with stakeholders across the business
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to turn technical information into clear, audience-friendly messaging
- Support PR activity and media opportunities (PR experience or interest desirable)
- Help plan and deliver communications campaigns and events to support business priorities
- Maintain consistent brand messaging and keep content plans, calendars and channels up to date
- Show a positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced communications environment
About you…
You’re a creative and proactive communicator with a passion for storytelling and a strong ability to create engaging content across a variety of channels. You’re confident turning ideas into compelling stories and can naturally identify content opportunities through conversations with stakeholders across the business. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you’re comfortable adapting messages for different audiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice. A background or interest in PR would be highly desirable, alongside an enthusiasm for securing media coverage and promoting impactful work.
Highly organised and motivated, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. You’re a strong collaborator, able to build relationships at all levels, and you bring a positive, flexible approach to teamwork. Confident using Microsoft Office tools (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint), you’re eager to learn, develop your skills, and contribute fresh ideas to a dynamic communications team.
