The role:
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Communications and Marketing Officer to join the team for a three-month contract.
Experience in media relations and PR is essential for this role as well as Strategy and Governance.
Key responsibilities:
Lead proactive media outreach and build strong relationships to secure high impact coverage across key titlesResearch, write and edit engaging press releases, articles and media content that tell the organisation''s story in a fresh and creative wayEnsure consistent and compelling messaging across all channels, with a focus on updating content on the website and intranetWork with internal teams and partner organisations to produce impactful case studies that demonstrate the impact of the Trust''s work
What the client is looking for:
Experience in media relations and PRStrategy and governance knowledgeStrong communication skillsExcellent writing and editing skills with experience of crafting compelling stories, press releases and materials that resonate with target audiencesDigital media proficiency including familiarity with social media platforms, intranet platforms and websitesAbility to work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to deliver effective communications campaignsAbility to multitask and work under pressureHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
