Communications and Engagement Lead

Triumph Consultants are looking for two Communications and Engagement Lead roles supporting the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority''s major strategic growth, place and mass transit programmes. One role focuses on Strategic Growth and Place, the other on Mass Transit. Contracts are for 3 months in Bristol BS1 6AL. Pay Rate: £400 per day PAYEHours per week: 37 Monday - Friday, 9:00-17:00Contract length: 3 monthsLocation: Bristol BS1 6ALHybrid - 2 days per week on site Key requirements: Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. Experience leading communications and engagement for complex, high-profile transport or infrastructure projects. Proven delivery of communications strategies, public consultations and inclusive community engagement. Strong stakeholder management across local, regional and national organisations with competing priorities. Excellent writing, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills, with sound political judgement. Ability to turn technical information into clear messages and deliver to tight deadlines. Key responsibilities Lead communications, engagement and consultation for strategic growth, place or mass transit programmes. Plan proactive, multi-channel engagement with programme teams and partner unitary authorities. Build relationships with communities and local, regional and national stakeholders.
