You''ll be part of a knowledgeable and passionate front-of-house team, gaining valuable experience across wine service, guest interaction and beverage knowledge. The role is ideal for someone who is genuinely passionate about wine and wants to build a long-term career within the world of fine dining.

• Ensuring the restaurant is fully stocked and prepared ahead of service
• Providing professional and attentive wine service throughout the guest experience
• Developing detailed knowledge of the wine list and beverage offering
• Assisting guests with wine choices and making appropriate recommendations
• Supporting wine tastings and training sessions
• Maintaining wine service equipment to the highest standard
• Being aware of bookings, guest preferences and special requirements
• Supporting the wider front-of-house team with beverage knowledge and service
• Maintaining consistently high standards throughout every service

We''re looking for a Commis Sommelier who has:

• A genuine passion for wine and fine dining
• Previous experience within a fine-dining restaurant, luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment preferred
• A strong desire to learn and develop their wine knowledge
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• A keen eye for detail and a professional approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ambition to build a career within fine dining
• WSET qualifications would be desirable but are not essential
