Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to negotiate contracts, prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.   What we would like from the Commodity Buyer: Previous proven experience within a similar role MCIPS or studying towards CIPS qualification Experience working in an automotive/aerospace or manufacturing environment Previous exposure and experience working with raw material market data, indices, and platforms Strong technical knowledge and understanding of processes and components and supply chain management Experience in supplier/customer relationship management Understanding of cost drivers in a manufacturing environment and experience in leading cost reduction activities Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics ...
