Commodities Application Developer (C#, React, TypeScript) – AVP – London (Hybrid)

The role is for a C# developer who will be working within a small team on Commodities Marking and Market Discovery Platform used by traders across the regions. We offer the opportunity to grow professionally, learn new technologies and gain business knowledge.

Responsibilities:Develop thePlatform using C# with an opportunity to learn React during WPF to React migrationWork directly with quants and traders to specify requirements and own deliveries and 3rd line support to provide daily communication and updatesBe involved to testing, documentation and release process as per business requirements and firm standardsCollaborate with other global Commodities technology teams and more widely across markets technologyKnowledge/Experience:C# development experience with understanding of multi-threadingJavaScript, Python, WPF, messaging, React and/or Angular are a plus but not requiredExperience in financial services is a plus but not requiredCorrect attitude: treat the business, quants and tech colleagues as clientsEducation:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
