Job Title: Commissioning Technician Location: Holmston, Ayrshire Salary: £50ph About the Role: Our client, a global leader in green technology and renewable energy solutions, is seeking a skilled Commissioning Technician to support the delivery of advanced energy storage projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge battery energy storage systems (BESS) and contribute to large-scale energy transformation initiatives worldwide. Key Responsibilities: Install and commission battery energy storage systems in line with technical specifications Debug systems, diagnose faults, and restore operational performance Prepare site plans and coordinate installation and commissioning activities Carry out technical upgrades, maintenance, and system improvements as directed by site leadership Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards Requirements: Minimum 2 3 years experience in BESS commissioning Relevant certifications such as CSCS, IOSH, NEBOSH, or SMSTS Electrical qualifications, including high-voltage and/or low-voltage certification (preferred) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems Willingness to work on-site for extended periods and travel as required Good communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools IELTS score of 5.0 or above, or willingness to improve English proficiency Desirable Skills: Experience in power electronics or renewable energy ..... full job details .....
