Commissioning Planner Primavera P6 Location: Glasgow Contract: Initial 6 months IR35: Outside IR35 Sector: Manufacturing Role Type: Contract The Opportunity Our client is looking for an experienced Commissioning Planner to support the commissioning and start-up phase of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in the Glasgow area. This is a hands-on Commissioning Planner role requiring strong Primavera P6 capability combined with practical experience of commissioning, completions and handover activities within a regulated manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical or process environment. The successful Commissioning Planner will work closely with commissioning, engineering, construction, validation and project controls teams to develop, maintain and challenge the commissioning schedule through to operational readiness and handover. Commissioning Planner key Responsibilities Develop, maintain and update detailed commissioning schedules using Primavera P6. Integrate commissioning activities with the wider construction and project master schedule. Develop logical commissioning sequences covering system completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing and handover. Work closely with commissioning engineers and package owners to capture realistic durations, dependencies and constraints. Identify commissioning critical paths, schedule risks and potential bottlenecks. Monitor actual progress against the baseline and forecast completion dates.
