Rough Sleeper Services Commissioning OfficerLocation: Hybrid Working- Hove, BN3 (with travel to other sites as required)Rate: 25.00 per hourContract: ASAP Start - Mid February 2027Hours: Full Time- 35 hours per week The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Rough Sleeper Services Commissioning Officer to support a key local authority homelessness programme focused on improving outcomes for rough sleepers and single homeless individuals requiring support and accommodation.This is an excellent opportunity for a commissioning professional who can work independently, engage senior stakeholders, and drive commissioning projects within a challenging but rewarding environment.The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring services are person-centred, outcomes-focused, financially sustainable, and responsive to the needs of vulnerable residents.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role will focus on commissioning, performance management, and quality improvement across homelessness and rough sleeper services, including:Commissioning and Service DevelopmentLead and support commissioning and recommissioning projects.Review and develop service specifications and commissioning intentions.Conduct options appraisals and develop business cases and project plans.Develop innovative services and sustainable markets that improve outcomes for homeless individuals.Work collaboratively with Housing, Adult Social Care, Health partners, providers, and the voluntary sector.Performance and ..... full job details .....
