Commissioning Manager - Data Centre ConstructionLocation: Blyth, Northumberland3D Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a leading international main contractor specialising in the construction and delivery of large-scale data centres and mission-critical facilities.Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Commissioning Manager to coordinate and oversee the mechanical and electrical commissioning activities on a major data centre project in Blyth.This opportunity is suitable for candidates with either a mechanical or electrical background, provided they have a strong working knowledge of both disciplines.The RoleReport to the Commissioning Lead and manage the site Commissioning EngineersOversee the development and delivery of the MandE commissioning programmeCoordinate commissioning activities across mechanical and electrical packagesManage vendor FATs, FWTs and associated inspection and testing activitiesOversee commissioning requirements relating to CFCI and OFCI equipmentReview commissioning method statements, testing procedures, scripts and sign-off documentationCoordinate contractors, vendors and construction teams to support commissioning readinessMonitor commissioning progress, resolve technical issues and maintain programme complianceEnsure EHS procedures are implemented throughout all commissioning activitiesSupport final testing, integrated systems coordination and handoverCandidate RequirementsDegree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or 5+ years'' ..... full job details .....
