Commissioning Engineer

A specialist power generation business is seeking an experienced Generator Commissioning and Support Engineer to join its growing team, supporting critical power infrastructure projects across the UK.This role will focus on the commissioning, testing, and warranty support of standby power generation systems, primarily within data centre and critical infrastructure environments. It is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in diesel generators and power generation systems who is looking to join a business operating at the forefront of the sector.Key ResponsibilitiesCommission and test diesel generator systems and associated controlsCarry out warranty support, fault finding, and troubleshooting activitiesSupport the installation and handover of generator systems on customer sitesDiagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faultsEnsure equipment operates safely and in line with customer specificationsComplete commissioning reports and technical documentationProvide technical support to customers and internal teamsTravel to customer sites as required across the UKEssential RequirementsProven experience commissioning and supporting diesel generator systemsStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsGood understanding of generator control systems and synchronisationExperience working within critical power, data centre, or industrial environmentsAbility to work independently and manage site-based activitiesFull UK driving licenceWillingness to travel as ..... full job details .....
