Your new roleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commissioning Engineer to join the Balance of Plant team on the Hinkley Point C project in Somerset. Hinkley Point C is the first new nuclear power station to be constructed in the UK in more than 20 years and will provide low-carbon electricity to approximately six million homes.Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you will play a key role throughout the commissioning lifecycle, combining technical engineering expertise with project delivery responsibilities. During the planning phase, you will review commissioning documentation, develop test specifications and prepare safety documentation. As the project progresses, you will support and lead commissioning activities on site, analyse test results and contribute to the safe transition of systems into commercial operation.Key responsibilities include: Developing commissioning documentation and reviewing contractor-produced commissioning records.
