Commissioning Engineer

Commissioning Engineer Location Site-based role with travel to customer sites across the UK and potentially internationally as required. Job Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join a growing industrial engineering business delivering complex machinery and automation projects. This role is ideal for a strong electrically biased engineer with proven experience in PLC fault finding, commissioning and industrial automation systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, commissioning and supporting a wide range of industrial machinery and systems on customer sites. Typical equipment may include conveyors, packaging machinery, automated production lines, process equipment, motors, drives, sensors, safety circuits and PLC-controlled systems. This is a site-based role and does not require regular travel to a central office location. Key Responsibilities for Commissioning Engineer Carry out installation and commissioning of industrial machinery and automation systems. Ensure all equipment is installed, tested and commissioned to the highest standards. Work closely with customers to ensure systems meet technical and operational requirements. Diagnose and fault-find on electrical, control and PLC systems. Commission machinery including motors, drives, sensors, control panels and safety circuits. Support commissioning of PLC-controlled systems, including Siemens, Allen Bradley, Rockwell or similar platforms. ..... full job details .....
