Commissioning Engineer Location: Speke, LiverpoolSalary: 55,000 per annumType: Permanent HRGO Recruitment is working with an established engineering and systems integration business to recruit a Commissioning Engineer.You''ll work on specialist telemetry and metering systems supporting the UK gas network, including gas metering upgrades, telemetry projects and biomethane injection schemes. This is a hands-on role covering pre-commissioning, testing, commissioning and final handover, with a mix of workshop, site and customer-facing work. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport commissioning planning and project delivery.Carry out FAT, SAT, dry testing and wet commissioning.Prepare equipment and systems for testing and commissioning.Work at the Liverpool facility and customer sites across the UK.Maintain accurate test records, reports and handover documentation.Assist with defect resolution and project close-out.Ensure installations meet safety, technical and regulatory requirements.Liaise with internal teams, clients and supply chain partners.Promote safe working practices across all activities.Skills and Experience2+ years'' experience in a technical gas industry role.Experience with telemetry and metering systems is desirable.Knowledge of flow meters, ultrasonic meters and flow computers is advantageous.Experience with PLCs, such as Siemens or OPTO.Knowledge of remote I/O systems, such as Pepperl+Fuchs, is beneficial.18th Edition, electrical inspection and testing and CompEx.SHEA Gas ..... full job details .....
