Commissioning Engineer - ECandI / Control SystemsLocation: AWE - On-site Rate: 500 per day Contract: Initial 3 months, with view to extend Clearance: Live SC or DV essential Start: ASAP - candidates with current SC/DV can onboard within a couple of weeksThe RoleWe are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer with an ECandI / Control Systems background to support commissioning activities on a major programme at AWE. You will be responsible for supporting the testing, commissioning and handover of electrical, instrumentation and control systems within a highly regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCommissioning and testing of ECandI and control systemsFault-finding, functional testing and system verificationReviewing commissioning documentation, test procedures and drawingsSupporting installation, pre-commissioning and handoverWorking closely with engineering, construction and project teamsEnsuring commissioning activities meet safety, quality and project requirementsRequirementsProven commissioning experience within ECandI, CandI or Control SystemsExperience with PLC/SCADA and control systemsStrong understanding of electrical/instrumentation systemsExperience working on complex, highly regulated engineering projectsLive SC or DV clearance - essentialValid CSCS card - essentialA relevant HNC/HND or degree in Electrical, Control and Instrumentation, Automation or Engineering preferredAWE experience highly desirableNuclear, defence, process or other safety-critical ..... full job details .....
