Job Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced-Commissioning Engineer-to support the commissioning of-three 400kV AIS bays-interfacing with a nearby-HVDC substation. This is a key role within a high-voltage infrastructure project, requiring strong technical knowledge, planning skills, and site-based experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute commissioning activities for 400kV AIS equipment
- Plan and prepare-Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)-in line with project specifications
- Act as the primary-on-site technical representative-to the client
- Provide regular updates and-report progress-to the Project Manager, Site Manager, and Commissioning Manager
- Manage-task cards, resource allocation, and testing equipment-during commissioning phases
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or equivalent in-Electrical Engineering-or related discipline
- Proven track record in-high-voltage commissioning, ideally with 400kV AIS systems
- Experience working on-HVDC interface-projects is a strong advantage
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a site-based team environment
- Familiarity with industry standards and health & safety practice
