Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled-Commissioning Engineer-to join our team in the industrial water sector. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient commissioning of water and wastewater treatment systems across a range of industrial wastewater projects. This includes planning, executing, and documenting commissioning activities to ensure systems meet design and performance specifications, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute commissioning activities for water treatment systems (e.g., filtration, chemical dosing, DAF, MBR, RO etc.)
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation
- Liaise with design, installation, and project teams to ensure smooth handover from construction to operation
- Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and test reports
- Provide technical support and training to clients and operational teams
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements:
- HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Process Engineering
- Proven experience in commissioning within the water or wastewater industry
- Strong understanding of process control systems, instrumentation, and PLCs
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to travel to various project sites across the UK
- CSCS or equivalent safety certification
- Full UK driving licence
