We are seeking a Commissioning Engineer / Coordinator to support the planning, tracking and delivery of commissioning/completions activities across multiple work packages.
The role will sit between management, planning and site teams, providing clear visibility of commissioning/completions progress, priorities and upcoming activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the completions team and project planners, working with schedule information from Primavera P6 and using Excel to produce detailed trackers and work-package reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and monitor commissioning activities across multiple work packages.
- Translate Primavera P6 schedule outputs into practical Excel trackers and reports.
- Monitor commissioning progress, milestones, dependencies and outstanding actions.
- Work closely with planners to obtain and validate schedule data.
- Liaise with management, completions and field teams to maintain accurate progress information.
- Support short-term planning, look-ahead schedules and commissioning readiness reviews.
- Highlight delays, risks and potential impacts to the commissioning programme.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience supporting process commissioning within oil and gas, pharmaceutical, chemical or similar process industries.
- Good understanding of commissioning sequencing and schedule-driven project delivery.
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to interpret and manipulate scheduling data.
- Experience working with Primavera P6 outputs.
- Able to communicate effectively with planners, management and site-based teams.
- Previous experience within a commissioning, completions or commissioning engineering function would be advantageous.
This position may suit an experienced Commissioning Coordinator, Commissioning Engineer or Completions Coordinator with a strong interest in the planning and scheduling aspects of commissioning.
