Commissioning Engineer Automotive - Schneider PLC - Dagenham - ContractWe are currently recruiting an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support a major automotive manufacturing and automation project in Dagenham.This is a hands-on opportunity for an engineer with strong Schneider PLC experience, combining PLC software modifications, commissioning, fault-finding and live production-line support.Role Details Position: Commissioning Engineer Schneider PLCLocation: Dagenham, EssexRate: £40 £50 per hour Outside IR35Contract: ContractorHours: Monday Friday, 07 00Weekend Support: Approximately 2 weekends per monthThe Role You will be working directly on automated manufacturing equipment, supporting commissioning activities and implementing PLC software changes within a live production environment.The role will involve: Developing and modifying Schneider PLC softwareCommissioning automated production equipmentFault-finding and troubleshooting on live production linesTesting and validating software modificationsSupporting production and commissioning activitiesPreparing software updates for planned maintenance windowsWorking closely with site and engineering teams to resolve issues and ensure equipment is operating correctly Key Skills Required We are looking for engineers with: Strong experience with Schneider Electric PLCsProven experience with PL7Experience with Unity Pro / EcoStruxure Control ExpertAbility to make PLC software modifications and basic developmentsStrong ..... full job details .....
