Based in London, hybridLength: 3 months initiallyInside IR35We are working with a London-based Local Authority to recruit an interim Commissioning and Transformation Programme Manager, a key leadership role within a new Integrated Commissioning and Health Function. This will play a central role in shaping and delivering an integrated commissioning approach that drives improvements for children and families.Key Responsibilities include:Develop and manage the overarching work programme for the new function, ensuring key milestones, governance, and decision-making points are effectively planned and deliveredDrive the rollout of a joined-up commissioning approach across the Council and NHS, embedding a collaborative, disciplined, and commercially sound processSpearhead priority initiatives, including improving child and adolescent mental health and building resilience through our amily Mental Healthriendly programmeWork with senior leaders across the NHS, local authority, and voluntary sector to align priorities and deliver shared outcomesPromote a systemic, trauma-informed, and anti-racist approach to commissioning and service design for children and young peopleExperience and knowledge required:Proven leader in programme delivery – with expertise in strategic project management, planning, reporting, and risk controlDemonstrable commissioning experience, ideally in Children’s joint commissioningStrong sector insight – bringing a clear understanding of local authority, NHS, and integrated care systems within the wider public sectorInfluential and collaborative – able to inspire confidence, manage competing priorities, and work effectively with senior leaders, clinicians, and the wider communityTo apply for this role or to find out about other jobs, please contact Niki Herek on the London Local Government Recruitment team on 020 7557 7667 or send your CV to localgov@venngroup.com*Venn Group’s “Recommendation Scheme”:
