Commis Chef Swindon Permanent - Full Time Salary is dependent on experience We are currently recruiting for a talented Commis Chef to join our client based on the outskirts of Swindon. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the hotel''s quality standards. With training, ensure all food is prepared using fresh ingredients and correct cooking techniques. Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation. Support and mentor any Kitchen Assistants. Monitor stock levels and report shortages to senior Chefs. Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation. Ensure compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, allergen regulations, and health and safety procedures. Work effectively under pressure during busy service periods, including weddings, conferences, and events. Requirements College training with successful pass of theory and practical exams. Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards. Good organisational skills. Ability to work effectively within a team. Passion for fresh, seasonal produce and high-quality food. Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Desirable Qualifications NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent. Food Safety Level 2 Certificate.
