Commis Chef – Temp to Perm | Witney, Oxfordshire (OX29)

£16.00 per hour
Monday to Friday  6:00pm–2:00am Immediate Start

We’re recruiting a Commis Chef to join a well-established contract catering team in Witney on a temp-to-perm basis.

Working alongside another chef, you’ll help prepare and serve evening meals for approximately 150 people across two services. This is a great opportunity for a Commis Chef looking to develop their skills and progress within a professional kitchen.

Duties include:

• Reheating and serving food prepared by the day team
• Cooking some dishes from fresh
• Preparing salads for the salad bar
• Preparing for breakfast service
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
• Supporting with general kitchen duties

What we’re looking for:

• Previous kitchen or Chef experience
• Reliable and confident working independently
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen standards
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Own transport essential due to the location and working hours
